• Perform radiographic examinations with minimal supervision under the direction of the Radiologist.
• Coordinate daily activities, including performing examinations and associated clerical duties.
• Prepare and administer contrast media as required.
• Consult with radiologists and other physicians as necessary.
• Maintain accurate records as required by departmental standards.RequirementsRequires successful completion of a formal Radiology Tech Program in an AMA-approved facility, ARRT registration, and Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider (BLS HCP) from AHA. If a new graduate, must be registry eligible with registry completion within 1 year of hire date.Physical DemandsThis role requires strenuous physical effort while assisting patients from wheelchairs and stretchers. Handles equipment and monitoring supplies. Must have good oral and written communication skills to interact with patients and hospital staff.
