  Respiratory Therapist
  TACT STAFF is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team! The Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (Med-Surg RN) provides comprehensive care to adult patients undergoing surgical procedures or those with medical conditions requiring hospitalization. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  
  Key Responsibilities:
  --- Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify health problems and needs.
  --- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  --- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  --- Monitor and document patients' progress, vital signs, and response to treatments.
  --- Assist with diagnostic procedures and surgeries as needed.
  --- Educate patients and their families about post-operative care, medication management, and lifestyle modifications.
  --- Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and families during recovery.
  --- Ensure adherence to infection control and safety protocols.
  --- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
  --- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education programs.
  
  Qualifications:
  --- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted.
  --- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
  --- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification may be required.
  --- Strong critical thinking, organizational, and communication skills.
  --- Ability to work effectively in high-stress situations and manage multiple tasks.
