Role Overview: Your nutritional know-how can help patients in
your community live happier, healthier lives. -Sodexo is seeking a
Registered Dietitian for a full-time outpatient position at Women &
Infants Hospital in Providence, RI, part of the Care New England
System. Women & Infants is a teaching hospital affiliated with
Brown University. What You'll Do:
- provide exceptional nutrition care to patients in the
outpatient setting, primarily those with gestational diabetes; -
-
- work one weekend per month providing inpatient care;
- serve as an active member of the multidisciplinary care team,
with involvement in group education classes/support groups,
committees and community outreach events as needed;
- participate in performance improvement and/or outcome
measurement initiatives;
- be knowledgeable of the Nutrition Care Process; and
- efficiently and effectively organize clinical nutrition and
patient care responsibilities. - What We Offer: Compensation is

You Bring:
- Registered Dietitian credentials and licensure in Rhode
Island;
- one or more years of clinical experience;
- excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and adapt
to changing needs;
- a history of working independently with little direction and

- a commitment to continued education in the nutrition field. -

Requirements: Minimum Education Requirement:Master's degree with
completion of required coursework and supervised practice as
dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition
and Dietetics (ACEND) -For those eligible for the registration exam
prior to 1/1/24:Bachelor's degree with completion of required
coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation
Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) -
-Credentials Requirement:Meets eligibility requirements for
Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on
Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120
days of hire. - In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN
credentials is required at the time of hireCertification/licensure
as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or
facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of
hire -Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years experienced
practitioner able to work with minimal supervision
