Role Overview: Your nutritional know-how can help patients in your community live happier, healthier lives. -Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian for a full-time outpatient position at Women & Infants Hospital in Providence, RI, part of the Care New England System. Women & Infants is a teaching hospital affiliated with Brown University. What You'll Do:

• provide exceptional nutrition care to patients in the outpatient setting, primarily those with gestational diabetes; - -
• work one weekend per month providing inpatient care;
• serve as an active member of the multidisciplinary care team, with involvement in group education classes/support groups, committees and community outreach events as needed;
• participate in performance improvement and/or outcome measurement initiatives;
• be knowledgeable of the Nutrition Care Process; and

• Registered Dietitian credentials and licensure in Rhode Island;
• one or more years of clinical experience;
• excellent verbal and written communication skills;

Qualifications & Requirements: Minimum Education Requirement:Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) -For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) - -Credentials Requirement:Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. - In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hireCertification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire -Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years experienced practitioner able to work with minimal supervision
