Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Produce Order Specialist to join our team at Whole Foods Market. As a key member of our produce department, you will be responsible for purchasing and replenishing produce, monitoring inventory control, and participating in regional programs for purchasing and promotions.Key Responsibilities

• Purchasing and Replenishment: Purchase and replenish produce through proper buying procedures, ensuring timely and accurate orders to monitor inventory turns.
• Inventory Control: Monitor and act upon open PO reports for both purchases and credits in an accurate and timely manner, controlling spoilage and shrink.
• Merchandising and Display: Maximize sales potential through effective and proper procedures for stocking and merchandising products, overseeing customer special order procedure, and analyzing and controlling product transfers, waste, and spoilage.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, addressing needs of customers in a timely and effective manner, and models suggestive selling techniques.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the team to achieve sales and inventory goals, and maintain a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment.
