• Key Responsibilities:
  • Cuts, platters, and merchandises meat products.
  • Prepares specialty meat merchandise.
  • Checks product quality and maintains sampling programs.
  • Mons and assists in preventing spoilage.
  • Mentors meat cutter trainees.
  • Provides excellent customer service and answers phones promptly.
  • Maximizes sales potential through proper procedures.
  • Follows established procedures for health and safety.
    • Required Skills:
      • Working knowledge of meat team processes.
      • Excellent cutting skills and knowledge of meat cuts and cooking techniques.
      • Ability to visually examine products for quality and freshness.
      • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
      • Ability to follow directions and procedures.
      • Passion for natural foods and the company's mission.
        • Experience and Physical Requirements:
          • 14+ months retail experience.
          • Ability to lift 50 pounds, stand for 6-8 hours, and work in a fast-paced environment.
          • Exposure to temperatures, chemicals, and cutting equipment.
