Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Prepared Foods Department Supervisor to join our team at Whole Foods Market. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the scheduling and supervision of Team Members, as well as maintaining the day-to-day flow of the department.Responsibilities

• Team Supervision: Supervise and delegate tasks to Prepared Foods Team Members to ensure efficient department operations.
• Training and Development: Work with the Prepared Foods Trainer to train Team Members, focusing on building a high-performance team and minimizing turnover.
• Inventory Management: Ensure all cases and shelves are clean, well-stocked, and properly rotated to maintain a positive customer experience.
• Department Operations: Open and close the department according to established procedures, ensuring all necessary breaks are given.
• Customer Service: Maintain awareness of customer flows and needs, directing Team Members to satisfy and delight customers.
• Performance Evaluations: Provide timely, thorough, and thoughtful performance evaluations to support Team Member growth and development.Requirements
  • Experience: 12+ months of retail experience.
  • Skills: Excellent interpersonal, motivational, team building, and customer relationship skills.
