Job Title: Research Associate

Location: Cambridge, MA
Hours/Schedule: Mon - Fri, normal business hours
Pay Range: $28 - $32.30/hr
Type: Contract, Potential for extension or conversion to permanent

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of latest generation Phenocycler Fusion and Visium; preparation of samples and reagents; and assistance in assay development and optimization. Operate and maintain the instruments.
Prepare and manage reagents. Perform reagent validation. Prepare slides for analysis.
Maintain an accurate record of samples, reagents. Maintain and organize the inventory.
Perform routine data transferring.
Assist in the development of new reagents.


Requirements Bachelor's degree in biological sciences, engineering, chemistry, physics, math, computer sciences, or related fields.
Prior experience with spatial technologies or pathology/histology/IHC is preferred but not required, as training will be provided.
Ideal candidates will be quick learners and comfortable with new technologies and have excellent hands-on and organizational skills, with attention to detail and quality.
Skills for effective and timely communication with colleagues.
A 3-5 years of lab related experience preferred.
