The Senior Ability Analyst primarily investigates claims to make timely, accurate and customer focused initial and ongoing Long Term Disability benefit determinations using vocational, medical, and financial claim management. The Senior Ability Analyst supports our mission of helping our customers rebuild their lives after an unexpected event or illness happens while following corporate claim standards, policies, and procedures, and statutory, regulatory and ethics requirements. Claim complexity varies depending on tenure in role, which may be inclusive of working with customers with behavioral health/mental illnesses and terminal diagnoses. -Work Arrangements: The Hartford is proud to offer a hybrid work location model that is designed to support flexibility. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition.
